Brittany Gianetti, PhD, MPH, is a PHI/CDC Global Health Surveillance Fellow working in Kampala, Uganda on the CDC Uganda’s Population-Based HIV Impact Assessment (PHIA).  She earned a PhD from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in Biomedical Sciences and an MPH from the University of California, Berkeley in Epidemiology. Previously, Brittany served as a Global Health Corps Fellow at the Zambia National Public Health Institute, where she researched and implemented outbreak responses. Brittany is passionate about generating and utilizing scientific data to help drive targeted health policies.

The PHI/CDC Global Health Fellowship Program is implemented for CDC by the Public Health Institute and its partner Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
