Evan Pye, MPH, is a PHI/CDC Global Health Program Management Fellow working with the CDC Center for Global Health’s Washington, D.C. office to support their policy, partnership and communication work. Evan previously worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for two years in the Digital Health & Innovation department, where he supported the implementation of national mHealth programs for the prevention and management of noncommunicable diseases. As part of the WHO’s COVID-19 response, he was involved in the development of a number of global digital tools to deliver COVID-19 information to the general population around the world. Prior to his work at WHO, Evan spent a year and a half working in Uganda with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and a local NGO on programs and policies related to sexual and reproductive health. Evan earned his MPH in Global Health Leadership and his Bachelor of Science in Global Health from the University of Southern California.
