Hannah Kubinson, MPH, is PHI/CDC Global Health Surveillance Fellow for CDC in Ethiopia. As an Epidemiologist and global citizen, Hannah is passionate about preventing and interrupting the transmission of infectious diseases in populations around the world. Before becoming a fellow, Hannah spent three years as a Public Health Epidemiologist at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH). At NYCDOHMH, she conducted a wide range of surveillance activities for infectious diseases like Zika and Candida Auris.  She also spent a year at the Nassau County Department of Health Division of TB Control honing her TB surveillance skills. Hannah holds a Master of Public Health from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St Lawrence University.
