Neha Kamat, MPH, is a third-year PHI/CDC Global Strategic Information Fellow with CDC Mozambique. She is passionate about using data and evidence for program improvement. While the bulk of her fellowship involved SQL queries and data management, she thoroughly enjoyed developing meaningful visualizations and working alongside Mozambican National Institute of Health colleagues. As the fellowship comes to an end, Neha looks forward to applying her data skills in an evaluation and learning setting, while still getting her hands dirty with a messy dataset.

The PHI/CDC Global Health Fellowship Program is implemented for CDC by the Public Health Institute and its partner Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
