Sarah Aheron, MPH is a PHI/CDC Global Health Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow for CDC South Africa. She works on the Chronic Condition Medicines Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) program in Global HIV and Tuberculosis. She spent the last 9 years working in global health for NGOs primarily focused on HIV in eastern and southern Africa. In her previous roles, Ms. Aheron focused on proposal development, project management and financial analysis. Prior to her career in global health, Ms. Aheron worked in management consulting for Deloitte. She holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Business from University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from American University.

The PHI/CDC Global Health Fellowship Program is implemented for CDC by the Public Health Institute and its partner Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
